RE: Insurance on "stuff" in storage while full-timing

My rv insurance (allstate) added my storage shed to my insurance for the amount I requested which was not a lot. Something like 10 or 15 grand.

RE: bottled water

Water is not just water. Whats in it is what makes it different like many chemicals, suspended solids, cysts, bacteria and who knows what else. I have tried many brands of bottled water and there is a big difference in taste. My personal preference is Aquifina, this brand is owned by Pepsico. Aquafina is about as close to pure water as you can get, it goes through a seven step purifacation process .before it is bottled. Try a bottle and see if you agree with me
I hope you dont believe that? The today show did a test of bottled waters and also talked to the companies. None do the purification process you speak of. Read the labels they are all purefied by reverse osmosis. I personally prefer Nestle which is bottled in Denver, Colorado by the same water that is used to make that good coors beer. That rocky mountain spring water. Is there any other kind? :h :B

RE: Map of all National Parks, Monuments, Historic Sites...

What you need to do is buy the National Parks Passport binder. Not the small blue passport book but the larger black binder one that lists all the sites on the first page of an area thus giving you a lot more to look at. Also included in it is a map and a list of information for every park to give you an idea of what you are going to see basically.

RE: The Darndest Thing

I would have prefered to drink the beer and piss on the posts.
Could it be the beer worked like most other liquids, carrying the current or being a bridge?

Fram filters are made in Layton, Utah. Frams can be bought just about anywhere including hardware stores. Good luck.

RE: fuel cost

After paying insurance premiums, maintainance costs, repair expenses, tire replacement reserve, storage fees, campground fees, not to mention monthly payments (if any) and the real cost of the loss of interest return on your equity or total value (if owned free and clear as many are) the added cost of fuel over what it was few years ago is absolutely negligible.
Yea right I hope you dont really believe that. It would take every person in every country that uses exon mobil to stop use for 30 days to even begin to put a tiny lil dent in the fuel prices.

RE: Kicking You When You're Down

Strange cuz I heard they were reducing their price there last year. And with that new pipeline they ran to South Dakota to sell the gas to the east they are making a killing if they raise it that high. I hope Utah is smart enough not to let that happen. The only thing I could find on it was a early May tribune story about a 22 million dollar increase but could not find the time frame involved or purpose.

RE: Seattle, WA to West Glacier NP ????

You can stop at pass falls, there is an rv park right behind the flying J there. Also forget the KOA at Coeur D'Alene it was under five feet of water three weeks ago. Matter of fact a lot of the town was not in very good shape from that same water problem.

RE: Lubricating hydraulic jacks

Well mine dragged so I spayed them with silicone and now they work great and I will do it again the next time they hang up. And yes I tried to wipe them clean, I also used a pry bar and blocks to push them up after that and finally the spray. Much happier now.
